Brooks is out again for Lebanon, hurt that same knee again. After the first quarter, the Devilettes were never really in it. Played hard, couldn't get shots to fall. Riverdale shot well and it showed on the scoreboard. Lanning was hitting from the parking lot!

Kudos for Burgess and Davis. These two young ladies definitely made the difference. Excellent leadership shown by Swoape.

For those of you who keep up with the points per game average thru the Tennessean High school web page, it is highly inaccurate due to games not being sent in and the Tennessean not knowing information about Christmas Tournaments this past year when a great number of schools played and no one sent the information in.

The same situation exist with 3 pointers made and for the same reason.

The points could be off as much as 100 and the 3 pointers could be off as much as 8.

This is no fault of the paper who took a chance that someone would call it in.

White County beat Warren last night. This puts in a tie for 5th place in the District with Blackman. These 2 teams play this week AT Blackman. Go Warriorettes! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

White County did easily beat Warren last night jumping out to a huge lead and cruising on to the victory behind Cash and Yslas 11 points and Roberts 10. Warren was led by Bowman 14 and Frazier 10. On a side note, I would like to personally congratulate Coach Eades on her 200 career loss Fri. night and adding to that remarkable accomplishment last night. You folks from Sparta still want to swap coaches ??

Burgess and Swoape are the clear leaders on this team and we go as the team goes ....the reason i think we have been playing better is the emergance of natalie lanning the past 3 weeks she is really playing well and looks like she wants to be out there and i am relay happy to see her playing like she is when she fulfills her role it helps the team out overall so NAT keep up the good work and keep playing like you are DAVIS is really strong she plays hard the enitre game and really gets after and that is why she gets into foul trouble also Nicole has really emerged into a solid player and is playing her role very good along with rachel who is getting more and more comfortable on the court about what she is suppose to doand where she is suppose to be

GO LADY WARRIORS

Ties are broken by how the two teams did against the other teams. You start at the top and go down. So if Sparta and Blackman are tied, they would compare records against either Cookeville or Riverdale, whichever team is first, and then go down from there until the tie is broken. White County needs to beat Riverdale. If they don't, Blackman would get the tiebreaker since they have two wins over Siegel and we have only one. Cookeville swept both of us. Riverdale swept Blackman.

The "swami" has arrived and sees the games of Tues. Feb. 5th going as follows: Cookeville will determine how bad the outcome will be on their home court against my lady Pioneers, Cookeville by 33. Blackman will get the cross town victory at Oakland, Blackman by 15. In a game that White County needs and really matches-up well against Riverdale, the swami sees White County pulling the upset by 3 over Riverdale. And finally, in another tough matchup, swami sees Siegel winning at home by 4 over hard to fiqure out Lebanon. The swami has spoken !! Read em and weep !!
