The Watauga Conference

Anyone who says that the Watagua has a higher level of competition than the IMAC is obviously uninformed and biased.

I would love to hear someone try to prove that point.

Simply ask Bill Duncan if he would rather play 3a or 2a. I know the answer because i have discussed this with him. He wants no part of 2A, he knows his conference is soft, and DB and Science Hill Usually knock one of themselves out fot Regionals., which gives Greeneville basically an automatic out of the Region and into sub state.

Looks like Duncans luck may have ran out this year.

I think Lance Bailey will be the Greeneville's leader this year. FYI....Wiggins is at College of Charleston so Cremins obviously thought he was D-1...just your one comment about Antwoine tells me you are a moron.

Antwaine is a good player and a Great guy. Brad and Antwaine have totally different games. Antwaine has more athletasism (spelling ?) and Brad is a stronger more fundamental player. They have played each other this summer and they both maintain mutual respect for the other. Though Brad is white and close to 4 inches shorter, he is by far a better player around the rim and going to the basket. Antwaine is a better shooter and has a quicker step. Ask Antwaine what he thinks about Brad.

I'm sure that a D-1 athelete could care less about some guy who plays for Chuckey Doak

So what you are telling me is that Duncan would rather get out of the "soft" conference he plays in so that he can move into a softer division? For some reason, that just doesn't make sense to me. Could it be because it's not true? Hmmm....I wonder.

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
