Personel wise I don't think Polk comes close to matching up with MC. With no turnovers and the defense playing well the Chargers should 8-1 and one step closer to the region title.

 

man, i know central has played good football all year but, that sounds so wierd hear central is "one step closer to a region title.' ----sounds good...but weird?! i wouldn't mind getting used to it

They won't get tired. You will have to play to win,and play hard. This one will come down to which one wants it the most in the 4th quarter.

4th quarter...that brings up a good point....anyone think that the week off for central will give them a leg up seeing as how they will be a lot fresher than polk, who is coming off a hard fought victory at seq? i also think that if central doesn't beat themselves, then polk won't be able to.

again, polk fans like you sound just like the meigs fans did back in the third week in the season...not giving the chargers any respect just because they haven't been a threat in the recent past....and it will come back and bite you just like the tigers did! and don't worry they will bring it! smokey ..if polk comes and plays there game the score will not be that high.......they play ball control and it does not matter to them if they score alot .......only matters that they stay ahead of what ever team they play.....i see this game going either way...and it will be lower scoring than that......and possibly be a very close game..either team by no more than 6 points..........now with that said congrats on centrals season....thus far.......now i heard today that the grundy and mc game was moved to monday .....any true in this.

That was the case untill late fri. afternoon, then the tssaa agreed to the forfiet. Has Howard played Grundy yet? If so that gives all 4 top teams a win against Grundy. If not and Grundy beats Howard then if im Howard, Polk, Meigs I demand the game to be played. If all 4 teams have a win against Grundy then all is equal.

If MC can keep the ball in their hands they'll be makin some big plays. I say both teams will score quick then come the 4th quarter Polk will get tired and MC will head back up 411 with the victory.

you are right about one thing...both teams have played solid all year..and thats about it. the difference maker is going to be jordan jackson. plain and simple. and lets not forget that under rated offensive line, who is going to allow jackson to beat polk through the air and with his legs....

i didn't say it matters to them if they score a lot...but i do think centrals offense will be able to put up big numbers on the scoreboard. why not? they have against every other opponent this year! and don't say "they ain't played polk co" because polk is on the same playing field as everyone else...they are not a great team like everyone says they are...and yes they are a good team...but they are not unbeatable....and wether central is what everybody says....is yet to be seen. but if polk does want to win they will have to score 25+ because there is just too many weapons on offense for central....should be a good game and good luck to both sides.
