I think that this game is gonna come down to who hits the other in the mouth harder. Plus its rivalry so no matter what the records or how they played in previous games, both teams will be ready to play.

The way the Gallatin faithful are talking you think you already lost the game.

I do think Hendersonville leaves the "wave yard" with a win but its going to be a lot closer than many of Gallatins other games.

Hendersonville 28 - Gallatin 21

You are right Gallatin will be ready, Hendersonville will be ready too. Its the biggest game of the year for both teams every year. It will be a great game that Hville will win.

This couldnt be any more true, this rivalry is as old as any rivalry in the state.it gives me chills just thinking about being able to strap up for one more of these games. Watching it is just not as exciting i really am envious of both these teams and their players/coaces.

I don't get all this "rivalry equals good game" crap. I believe UT-FLorida, UT-Alabama are both pretty dang big rivalries and UT got thumped by both because UT doesn't have a defense. Well guess what. Gallatin doesn't have a defense. They are giving up about 30 points a game and have been beaten by running teams and passing teams. I'm sure both teams will come out fired up, but after a while things settle down and the better team wins. The better team this year is HHS.

The Gallatin faithful that you are referring to are not by any means true Gallatin fans. They are fairweather Gallatin fans. They talk good about the players, the coaches, and past Gallatin teams when the Green Wave is winning and then abandon ship when things are going wrong with the team. I know that this has not been an exceptional year for Gallatin football, but I have continued to support the Green Wave every week and still believe that Gallatin has a legitimate shot at making the playoffs because I am a true Green Wave fan and I believe in the team and the coaches not like some of these other pretend Gallatin fans that get on here and type up all of these negative posts about "their team."

    • Groves got the ball over 20+ times. His son arguably played the best for East in that game. 3rd and long multiple times and he came up big to continue a couple drives. Please shut up for the 3rd year in a row
    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
