still waiting for hendersonville's defense to man up, but if it clicks watch out they could make some noise in the playoffs. Hendersonville 35-30. Also I was trying to figure it out how hendersonville could not make the playoffs right now. The only way i can concieve is if they loose out Gallatin and Overton both win out if there is something I am overlooking tell me.

This rivalry is one of those where you throw all records and past weeks out the window.It will be a physical game on both sides. That being said Gallatin has homefield and that place is as a tough a place to play as there is in the state.So this will be close,but Hendersonville prevails in anoter close game.

That is the only way Hendersonville could miss the playoffs, otherwise they are in.

Hendersonville wins this game...by how much I don't know. This Green Wave bunch has not shown any heart the past two weeks and is right now on the verge of going down in the record books as the worst team in the past 40 years. So Commandos you better win this year or it really looks bad. Besides ya'll have every game film of ours from the past what? 4 weeks.

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
