Yeah he's a big fb(6-2 230) and he runs hard and hits hard. I think for SS to have a chance they will have to spread it out. The wing t just doesn't get it done. I have no clue why the went to it against Bolivar. There best runs and passes came with two wr's. Hope the get away from the boring wing t.

 

 

I've never been a fan of the wing t wither...I was glad when we got away from it...but it is easier for SS...we don't have a James or anything close to it...good luck

Crockett shot there selfs in the foot many times.......three times while in the redzone....two penailties a fumble had ss stoped on 4 th down they went 4 it it was incomplete pass but a peanlity was called roughin the passer and ss ened up scorin...cc went for a two point conversion with like 50 sec to go..i thought he was in i woulda beat my life on it but the refs thought otherwise..cc better step up they played like they did against covington and humboldt...they btter get it back togther before the dc game!!!! goo crockett keep ur heads up!!!!!

      Tough situation.  Not sure the ROI is there right now.   Might be better options that are cheaper.

      Yeah summer ball is really fun, but a lot of coaches are trying to play several kids to get much needed reps that they are not accustomed to. I would imagine Gibson County will have lots of players playing to get much needed reps. Want to win games but got to get experience as well and the rotation will be much deeper. I will be at MTSU, UTM Bethel and others. MTSU is the one I really look forward to.

      Its always interested to see the state teams the following summer after losing or not losing seniors and getting freshman and transfers. It's almost time.

      Maryville has Alcoa on the schedule at the right time of the season which helped last year instead of at the first of the year not knowing much. West will be hard pressed to repeat this year but next will be a different story.
