BA will have to play one of thier best games of the year to beat Father Ryan. Offensively they have been pretty one-dimensional, and somewhat inconsistent. The defense is stout, but has shown some cracks in recent games. Special teams and turnovers killed them against MBA. The Eagles can't let that happen again against Ryan. Hopefully, CJ will be back, 100% and well-rested. He is tough to stop for an entire game.

BA had less turnovers than MBA did when the two teams played eachother

FR did lose pretty bad friday, but you cannot base one bad game on how they will do against BA, because FR could kill BA alot worse than what MBA did to BA.

It did not look like Ryan had a bad game to me. It looked like MBA lined up and ran right over the top of them.

I agree Ryan could kill BA. Anything is possible. I contend that conventional wisdom would place long odds on that possibility. It would take a major BA melt down to get blown out.

How do you come to that conclusion? Give me some football facts that back up that statement? I would be shocked if that happens!

    • Did this happen? Does anyone know? Ripley has their HC job posted on the bulletin board over the weekend.
    • Coalfield definitely isn't the same team they've had the past few years. They are still the favorites to make it out of their region because of their pitching. They have 1 arm that sits low to mid 80s and 2 other arms that are mid to high 70s with good off speed stuff. If you can avoid their top 3 bats in their lineup then you have a shot to beat them. Their 4-9 hitters are average at best. Wartburg's ace was able to shut them down last week in the game Wartburg won 4-2.
    • It is the longest season. Plus, 30 games a year. No Christmas break. I would say basketball is the most time consuming.
