playoff time. every team has a clean slate. how does rockwood match up with GP. what are GPs strengths and weakesses. will #41 get to play or will the suspension stand.. Rockwood is coming off a tough loss to CAK but ended up with a better draw because of it. so, what do u think

I think Rockwood has a good team that will match well against GP. Both teams are pretty well balanced offensively should be a great game. In the end Gatlinburg has too many weapons. GP by 9

Rockwood wins this one by 9 and goes on to beat CG the next week. They'll make it to the quarters where they'll play the winner of Alcoa/CAK. Until Region 1 steps up and plays real teams during the regular season, they won't be able to get by Region 2 teams. Alcoa will have some holes in their schedule next year...anybody up for it??? It would be nice to play somebody closer than 2 hours away.

About the "too hype": Funny how I've noticed almost all the teams we play are now doing some sort of a cheap imitation.

GP has made the playoffs 26 years in a row most in 3A, they want to go deep this year and its never easy. They had 5 turnovers in their only lost to rutledge a decent 3A team that took carter to the wire, Rutledge stopped GP on the 3 inch line as time ran out, for a 28-22 win. 5 turnovers in playoffs and your out. Rockwood beat a good 1A midway pretty bad, so we know they can play. It may come down to good coaching and who wants it the most and of course the refs. some nights the refs act like its basketball instead of football, let them play please..

Rockwood by 14. When was the last time someone from that district beat some one from our district in the playoffs?

Oh yes, its time for the annual run down by Tornado Gold. GP will show up Friday even though we are scared to death of any mention of a team from region 2 by Tornado Gold. Why TG, we promise not to use you juvenile cheer. We would not be worthy. Grow up and get a life TG. GP's players go to college and GRADUATE. There is a real world out there other than on Fall Fridays Tornado Gold. Well said. GP has been to the playoffs before. By the way, they have good students as well as football players. Oh, and did I mention, they don't recruit.
