flatline17
CPA was winning by 25 in the first half vs. FRA. The refs gave FRA every call from then on and thats the only reason they only lost by 11. Wow, did you forget how FRA shot from the foul line? It was horrible. It was obvious that FRA came out with a completely different gameplan than before and that CPA got a bit lackadaisical, which is to be expected with a huge lead like that. Maybe FRA played better and CPA was lackadaisical, but I still think the refs had something to do with the 2nd half swing.

Neither Miller nor Z got into serious foul trouble and FRA shot free throws horribly like i said. I just don't see it.

highschoolgameday22
HUME FOGG 47 MARTIN LUTHER KING 43 In a rival between the two smartest schools in the state, these are not your mothers nerds were talking about these kids left all out on the court, it has to rank one of the top three rivals in district 9aa, Hume fogg came into this game looking to prove that they can compete with anybody in thier district, the Royals on the other hand was looking to bring the same intensity they bring against PC, it look to favor the royals seeing that they have taken the last 5 of 6 against the Knights. This is a rival that every district 9aa fan should go watch. The atmosphere was electric the Hume fogg student section was 200 students strong and had some creating chants all during the game one of those chants were "WERE IS GERALD!! WERE IS GERALD" now m.l.king had there student section as well maybe not as big as but they had there good chants as well. even the cheerleaders was getting into the action. The Royals had jump out to a 13 to 3 lead in the middle of the first quarter it look to be a Royal blowout, but Hume Fogg led by there wing player Adrian Williamson got them back in the game with a couple of three pointers he doesnt have the prettiest form but his shot goes down. At the end of the first the game was tied at 13-13. At the start of the second quarter the Knoghts jump out to a 8 to 1 run and since then the knights never look back. The knights took every blow the Royals gave them. The knights look like a team that nobody wants to face, However the knights now run into 9aa power CPA the question from the knights is there big man they are really going to have to come strong with Z Mason coming into the house of the Knights

Hunter Miller had another big night with 29 and Z added another 24. The Lions have a big week with 3 district games within 5 days. Can they keep it up? tigerseye
I think CPA will hang in there as long as they stay healthy. With Anderson not 100% and 5 games in 8 days...it's going to be a tough week.

matt610
A very impressive 2nd half for CPA after being down by 2 at halftime. Mason got going and poured in 25 in the 2nd half. CPA emerges as the clear favorite to win the district and is sitting at 4-0 in district play coming home to face East-Lit tomorrow(Tues.) night. matt610
CPA crushed East Lit 67-19 tonight. The starters played less than half of the 2nd half. CPA seemed like they couldn't miss and smothered East Lit on defense.

They have no one to guard Z down low and they might to be able to stop Miller around the perimeter.
