We gonna find alot about Pearl-Cohn Basketball this week they have three games this week at Stratford on Tuesday the next day Hunters lane goes to PC. and to wrap it up on friday at M.L.KING(rival) Old Pearl vs New Pearl. should win the first two fairly easy. MLK will always bring it. The down side for Pearl-Cohn is that the football team just came off a 44to16 loss in the semifinals 4 of 5 starters are on the football team and because alot of them are injured, so now all the pressure is on for Joesph Sandifer and his right now young teammates to step up. until the whole team comes back.

STANDINGS GOING INTO DECEMBER:

 

CPA- 5-0 beating opposing teams by an average of 16 points

 

FRA- 4-2 Can they win that big game?

 

Hume Fogg- 3-0 good start but the teams they have played is has a combined 5-9 record so far should be tested tomorrow

 

East Lit- 2-2 looking to be consient

 

David Lipscomb- 2-3 off to a slow start but Caleb Clayton averaging just over 24 points per game

 

Pearl-Cohn 0-0 starts the season this week with three tough games(region game at M.L.K. this friday)

 

M.L.K. 0-2 two losses by a combined three points, tough oppening schedule(the way doc shelton likes it)

 

Ezell Harding 0-4 looking for that first win is tough

Saw on the Tennessean website that MLK beat Pearl-Cohn by 8, despite having to play the final 3:50 of the game with only 3 players. I would have loved to have seen that one. Doc Shelton finds the goofiest ways to win games. It is truly amazing!

that game can show possibly two things

 

first, is that pearl cohn might not be as hard as everyone is putting them up to be

 

second, that although mlk finally won their first game, they are a good bit better than eveyone else says, even after losing gerald.

 

as some people have already said, doc shelton year in and year out knows how to put together a potintial district team

IF....CPA plays their normal game they should win this one. You can be sure that the guys and the coaches don't take any game for granted. I'm sure both teams will come to play.

fra got a big W against MLK but i think they might swing and miss vs. CPA. too much firewpower to deal with

Congrats to CPA on the district win. Great 1st half, not so much in the second.

cpa is a great team. fra gave them all they wanted last night but cpa was able to put it away late with some easy baskets and freethrows. i tihnk if a team overlooks fra they may walk away with a loss

CPA was winning by 20 at the half and tried to sit on their lead. FRA is a good team. #12 can shoot the three.
