stuman89
I have looked, I guess there is no site to go to to see a list of all of the players. Interesting they would pick 2 3A coaches, 'tho both schools seem to have good records this year ( I am more familiar with Knox Cath. ). MarkH
This game replaces the KY-TN series that used to be played in the Summer. With so many top prospects enrolling in summer school following their senior year many of the Mr. Football winners and finalists weren't taking part in the game against the Bluegrass because they were already in college. This will allow them to take part along with the state's other top players. Most of the state's top players. When they decided to scrap the KY-TN game and start this one up, they didn't take into consideration that the Liberty Bowl has had an all star game for 5 years now that consists of the top seniors regardless of classification in the Memphis-Shelby Metro area. This game is always the week following the state championships. I am sure there are a number of kids who would like to play in the East-West game but their first loyalty is going to be in the game here. Football Man
No players from Wilson Central or Lebanon were selected to play.
NewAgeOutlaw
No players from Wilson Central or Lebanon were selected to play. which doesn't seem right considering WC's play thus far. Oh well, guess it shows that a good "team" beats a group of individuals any day
Bobcat
Daniel White from John Overton and Jacquese Seward from Hillsboro will be a good 1-2 running combonation for the West team.
Yogi Bear
Why is it at Carson-Newman? It's nowhere near the middle of the state. Also will the kids be able to use the cleats they already own on that artificial surface? My son checked with a CN player, was told you can use regular cleats on the kind of turf Carson Newman has. Hope I'm giving correct information.

Only one school happens to still be in the playoffs? Was there a fee to be paid no one else know about?
nrgrizzlies
Region 4 of 5-a is good enough to field an all-star team that could take on the entire rest of the state. Collins Ukwu recently took an offical visit to Arkansas and I didn't even see him listed yet.
stuman89
Maybe a lot of coaches just didn't nominate players. I am not sure that this game was handled right in it's first year.
