That certainly confuses the issue. Is Cherokee that improved? Is Austin-East at full strength? It will sort itself out as the season progresses.

South Greene had over 30 turnovers and it didn't help that the point guard for SG only played maybe 5 minutes of the first half because of foul trouble.

No, SG did not motivate them. They have now lost two games. Maryville before them. Both teams good but AE has lost their interest. I watched them this summer. They were good at the beginning of spring but by the time the summer was over...they just did not care. They are the best AA team in the east, no doubt, but they do not want to play. And if the drive is not there they will continue this path. Basketball is about talent, desire and motivation. AE is the most talented and they had motivation and desire last season, especially at the end of the year...they need to find it again.

most talented that is very questionable because the team I seen could the not take the defensive pressure the not so talented team of SG in YOUR opinion put on them and they made a lot of fundamental mistakes. If thats the best AA in the East then this may be SG's year to go back......

Hey buggin, you sure have gained alot of knowledge about SG since you were the same poster that was asking on here a few weeks ago what kind of team South Greene has?

South Greene will still have to go through Elizabethton and Unicoi, and the best that D2AA has to offer to even think about playing AE again, or Stone Memorial or Loudon.............
