bulldawgs#1
I'm a big UT fan. Bill Weems from Milan played 4 years for the Vols in the 70's. I'm sure there are alot more. Milan won it all twice during that decade. I didn't mean alot more UT players-just good H.S. players. You would probably know more of the older players then I do. I know we had a lot of good players but Tucker was good about getting the best out of his players. Something that Coach Morris and the coaches do today. Make decent players good and good players great.

MilanDog9
Now there's a post that celebrates success, trumpets tradition, and brings pride to any fan of the program. And he did not even mention Earnest Fields and John Fisher- the first 2 guys from the same high school to be captains at the same time for the Vols. 2 big names there that I did forget to mention. Thanks for bringing them up skyhawk /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> And I remember being able to meet John Fields when I was younger. He refereed the flag football games in Milan when I was younger and playing.
bulldognumber22
peabody's Devin Stayton #34 is unstopable with 124 tackles and 8 sacks so far this season i think he will be tuff to stop all so #31 miller playin the other end spot will both be key factors in shutting down milan Peabody Wins i think number 28 from trenton is beast

There you go. Late 60"s for Randy Farrell and Hal Holmes. Back to the 70"s for Michael and Terry Clark, Cecil Jones, Luther Smith, Tim Knight, Tim Jackson-all those guys were on the '77 Championship team. Early 70's- Jeff Chandler, Alan Ford, and Randy Wheeler. Tons of great players at both schools. Wish the Trenton guys would throw in. I used to hang around years ago.
