why is Trinity Christian ACademys basketball team going down.. Cricket Glenn quit and the Yarbros quit.. they went to the final four last year.. what is going on? will they be good this year?? how have they done??

Looks like Madison is the team to beat in this district now.

Decatur County and Madison Academic are the favorites in the district as they return the two best players in 15A in Demeika Mitchell (DC) and Morgan Faulkner (MA) and a surplus of talent around those players. Trinity still has some solid guards who are capable of winning ball games for them. However, this team is very thin in the post with only one real post player who is very green and inexperienced. She will get better as the season goes along. Trinity will not impress anyone on offense, but they will use their defense to keep them in games and give them a shot at the end. This district should be interesting.

I also have heard that the two Renfroe girls are leaving TCA. I realize that this is a basketball thread but since it is about student athletes not playing I figured it should apply. I am speaking about the two softball pitchers. What in the world is going on at TCA? Is there any word on where the girls will end up attending school?

Is it possible that sometimes teenage girls just lose interest and love in something? Sometimes young adults just want to try something else and explore other options other than basketball. Kids quitting or leaving happens at every school, just look at college kids who transfer to another school or quit. There is nothing out of the ordinary happening at Trinity.

 

P.S. Milan is gonna put the beat down on a lot of schools this year.

You are correct in that kids do quit and leave at every school but you would have to admit that five kids in such a short time would seem to be a little out of the ordinary. Regardless, I hope that it works out for all of them.
