Long time no hear Termitt. After that York beat down and trash talking you guys took I thought you might have quit posting. I never said that Westmoreland would win the region last season in the spring. I said that Westmoreland and SC would be the two teams competing for the championship. I also said I could not believe York would be considered to place higher than Westmoreland last season in the spring considering they had been beaten twice the previous year by Westmoreland and had never been beaten at that point by the dragons. Yes, they did beat us by a whopping 5 points this season. I think you have to admit that with all the players Westmoreland has returning that they should be the favorite coming into this season. I think most from SC that are really realistic fans think this will be the first rebuilding season they have had in a while due to the talent that they have coming back. York doesnt scare me much due to the style of offense they try to play us with each year. It plays into a strong defensive line and good linebackers hands and makes them easy to play against. Take away our turnovers and we win by 1 possibly 2 tds.

the westmoreland game was the worst game we played this season and still pulled out the win ... SC from what i heard whipped them (Westmoreland) good enough for the both of us anyway so here it is

YAI

SC

WESTMORELAND or UPPERMAN

CANNON

JACKSON

That is correct. YAI will be the overwhelming favorite. I think that is deserved after this year. They have their whole backfield coming back. SC will challenge...especially having YAI at home next year.

Hey Antwan hows it going just remember to tell Mr. Postman that york was picked 4th this year behind upperman and look where they ended up nobody expected york to be where they are or was now but just remember being picked 4th isnt so bad its better when u can fly under the radar looking forward to the game next year in the hole just hope u dont slip up on us though.................. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

A very good York team put SC in BB shoes. Nothing left to post about for the 07 season.

I seem to remember that Westy was the strongest, fastest, best in Jr. high...etc....

Let's see....Westy beat York twice in 06..so in 07 York should not finish higher than Westy....So in 08 Westy should be higher because York beat them once in 07.... Funny how you can make sense out of that but..... OK. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

"Whopping 5 points"...I bet in the record book there will be an * by this win for York to show how close it was. Whopping, whooping , 5 points, 55 points I think it still goes on the left hand side...

Rebuilding???? You wish..........probably less reloading in 08 than 07....depending on a couple of kids/injuries.

York came to your field and beat you ....And that has never happened before.....Next year you have to go on the Mountain???

Take away the turnovers???? Cann't every team make the same statement???

Now, go ahead and get an early jump on the G-ville bandwagon while your at it.

Cannon will be a bunch better than what a lot of people on here think

Same song...different verse.

Heard that this season. Improved....yes.........contender?????????

At least I won't have to hear " Meeellllvvviiinnn Yyyyoooouuuunnnngggg" on every single play this year. At Cannon o. the PA guy even said it while he was on the sidelines.... /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

Westmoreland will do no worse than second with what they have returning. Book it. York may return all that skill, but they better have some good hogs in front of them or they'll just be running east and west. In other words, no where.

Smith will be strong, them and westmoreland will always be in the top 3 (No Goodpatties or DL's in the region). Glad to see Cannon coming around--good luck.

Given your extensive coverage of football and the apparent breadth of your expertise, I am inclined to seek your esteemed opinion on the matter: who, in your estimation, emerges as the favored candidate? Furthermore, since the mantle of head coach has been vacated, upon whom would you bestow the mantle of leadership?

Might one contemplate this notion from such a perspective? Allow me to clarify that my intent does not lean towards disparagement, save for instances where provocation is directed towards myself or the esteemed troupe of the Trousdale County Yellow Jackets who proudly find domicile upon the hallowed grounds of CREEKBANK. In contemplation of the candidates under discussion, it is conjectured that individuals such as Gregory, Woodmore, Vetetoe, Eden, Hackett, and Cothron may emerge as contenders. Regrettably, it is deemed improbable that Shoulders shall express interest in this pursuit. Speculation arises regarding the potential candidacy of BJ West, albeit the implications of familial ties with Lafayette introduce complexities to such a scenario. The enigma of Dr. Clint's deliberations looms large, fraught with the weight of a formidable decision yet to be made.
    • My kind sir, you seem to be lost within the time space continuum having traveled from the 16th Century or you aspire to hide your true intelligence by masking your language with that of the great playwright. You know good and well, your commentary takes your fellow comrades hours to decipher what you are really saying and most of them are likely left questioning whether you have insulted them or find them to be in your favor. I offer you some advice. In my travels through this area of the country, it is best to speak slow and with a twang and you don't annunciate  words to their fullest. Your points will be clear then!  Any names been mentioned around town as Actual Applicants to this job? Seen several post mentioning individuals, but I haven't heard of any of them except for Shoulders. Does he have ties to TC?  Have amy of the other names mentioned ever been in the HC position before?
