Van Buren will not take anything away from any of the players from Forrest. We know we will have a battle on our hands Friday night. Aunt Kim, good luck, hope to see you at the game, looking for a big crowd, get there early.

Thank You Woodenfan and good luck to your team too....I am thinking this will be a real good game and as others have said, VB playing at home is always tough....I am leaving Chapel Hill at daybreak to get my seat there /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" /> , alright maybe a little later than that....but I don't want to miss anything /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

Community is no weak team by any means.....they came into our gym and put a whoopin on us( White House Heritage) well not so much a whoopin but, We held a lead for most of the game and then had a poor 4th quater scoring only 3 points and several girls in foul trouble spelled our demise. We held a 7 point lead at halftime 32-25, even though the foul differential was 13 to 5 against us. They were shooting free throws with 2:00 min left in the 1st quater.wow. But just felt I would say alittle bout em. Not to say this is their "signature win" but we are not a shabby team. playing just the 2nd game of the season( no HOF games Zion cancelled on us)...It was Community 4th game and I believe they had shook the first game jitters better than we had. The Thompson girl had 19 against us. Our top scorer with 20 was Chelsea Hanna. It was a good game but free throws in the end made the score look worse, We had two intentional fouls(not bad ones =)) in the last 45 seconds trying to stop clock.(usually those are not called intentional, I'm tellin ya we had NO homecourt advantage.) Final score 52-41. That district 9A is one to look out for. See you at tourney time. !!

Oh btw what is a Viqueen.>???

'Vegas,

District 9

1. Forrest - Starting 5 has lots of experience but the bench is a question mark. Those girls have not been in a meaningful game since middle school. The key to beating them is pressure Wesson she is a terrible ballhandler. Don't just take my word for it watch the tape of the state tournament game last year. That said they have a cake walk to a substate game at least.

you are right starting five has loads of expierience. The remark about the bench not so much they have been in loads of games that mattered esp this season. the bench came in the cascade game i mean they came in and did a fantastic job at scoring and on defense. the only problem is blair foster it seemed didnt have her head in the game. I was at that state tournament game and you r right but she has improved loads since last year. and dont give her an open three she will hit them all day and even one on one she will hit it but the problem is getting her man on man and open other than that forrest will win district 9A and could go undefeated and i disagree they could run into problems i mean some of the teams could give them a little trouble

    • We could sure use some math teachers country wide. Ever go into a store or restaurant and the bill comes to $9.97 and you give them a ten dollar bill and 2 pennies because you wanted a nickle back and then the meltdown starts and the next thing two more people have to come and help figure it out and the place comes to a complete halt. I see this everyday and it's a sad representation of all these schools allowing these kids out the door to get shortchanged the rest of their life.
    • I like the Pirates chances. I’ll be there as soon as work allows.
    • Stars, I heard we were searching far and wide for some math teachers. Any chance their kids bench press or 40 times are getting checked? LOL I’ve heard good things from 825.
    • I think it was expected. “Bad” luck I guess to get a couple difference maker QBs in the same class. I thought the decision was made a little early myself, but they were struggling offensively last year.  I assume the running quarterback alco had last year would be a senior this fall, and the transfer would start the following two years in addition to getting a ton of playing time this year. Maybe he waits two yrs, but I doubt it. The kid is good. So is the one who stayed.
    • I'm from Cloudland and we've never played a sectional game.  We need to win tomorrow night to avoid that bus ride.  Us and north greene can play with you guys so I'm expecting good games whoever the matchup is.
