Too bad he will only get to play for 3 years. He is already 16 years old.

 

I always heard that the Bryson kid was 2 old...even back in middle school.

 

So fill me in...so he is really a sophomore by age?...so he will ne classified a junior next year?

yea he will..as long as he has the grades..he will go wherever he wants

 

not enough players think about that...all those great Riverdale teams back in the day had some great players that didnt have grades and couldnt go D1...

 

and thats what i heard about the Hughes kid at siegel...he was a BEAST..but i heard he didnt have grades to go D1

one good thing i can say about smyrna is they work the players out with grades and tell them they need to hit the books.. i believe he will get with it.. i use to play back yard football with Bryson when he was just a little kid and he has had moves and speed ever since i can remember.. great player with heart

Bryson got MVP with 172 yards rushing.. his average was 6.2.. scary hes just a freshman

The east bracket was loaded this year. I think many other teams in the eastern bracket would have made for a much better game. It seems this way every year to me. Now I know that western bracket teams have won the championship before but the eastern bracket teams in the playoffs are comparable to the SEC the way they beat each other up. The western bracket always has a much easier road to the big game. I can think of several eastern bracket teams that would have played a much better game against Smyrna.

Congrats to Smyrna, you guys were obviously the better team. Also, good job to Indy for not giving up even after the huge half time lead by Smyrna. They made Smyrna play every minute of that game because they wouldn't give up.

 

He will be ineligible if he turns 19 before August 1 of his senior season.
