WOW what a game.Up to the last second it could have gone either way.Although it didnt go the way I wanted, it was a good game, with both teams fighting to win hard. I was SO proud of the westmoreland eagles.For a little school, we have gone far.with an outstanding record and good sportsmanship. Keep going girls..You have made us proud. .from

Yes,very true statement. The game could have gone either way,but the Lady Bison of STATION CAMP proved the best and proved to come out ontop. Although the Lady Eagles had a lead that seemed to take off,the SCHS girls fought back to win. It was a very good game for those who missed it. I was actually a fan supporter of the Lady Bison,sat and fought through the tough Westmoreland crowd as well,tough group! Before I preceed on,some think the Lady Eagle had good sportsmanship,I didnt see any of that prior to the championship game. I heard some of the starting 5 talking about how they are better than SCHS,and will kick their a%$,that point guard Kayla Buchanan looked like a leprocaun,that Ellyn Unger wasnt good at all.....not very good sportsmanship If you ask me. But thats the game of basketball I suppose. But be sure TO walk the walk,especially If your going to talk the talk. Congrats to Unger on MVP,she played tremendously well in the tournament,and a big ovation for point guard from Westmoreland,great shooter. And to Jones as well,her game has stepped up and will be hard to handle in 08'. Good luck to all the teams that competed in the tournament,well ran tournament.Nice shirts too :] Yes,very true statement. I think Westmoreland could have definitely taken a win home. ( and should have) They looked kind of unorganized and were just,in a way unprepared. They Lady Eagles only held Unger to about 10-15 points?? If someone knows exactly then feel free to correct me..pretty good defense if you can hold her to that amount. One loss is excellent and I believe the Eagles are a way better team than Station Camp and do "walk the walk".. Westmoreland just didnt play well at all.{especially compared to their potential!}

Westmoreland played a great game but they aren't "way" better than Station Camp. I have seen both play multiple times and both are very evenly matched. As for the sportsmanship thing, thats just a crazy statement. Westmoreland is a class organization and so is Station Camp. I don't think Coach Sims missses it even though he would have some great talent next year.I am sure Sims could take them far.

 

with the talent comin from the 8th grade class next year sims could take this team to the state tourney in a couple years but it aint gonna happen

anybody can coach that group of girls thanks to one of them reeser twins. They made sims and kimes look good. he spent alot of time thepast 20years.
