All three were running backs and linbacker types. Jolley is the best football player of the the three. Really has a good running style. Had some good runs in the spring games against Alcoa and McMinn. Campbell and Ray have not played in two years. Both showed some promise as freshman. Campbell had a chance to be a starter at LB but got passed up. Ray had some ability running the football. Better on offense than defense. All three will be able to start for Sequoyah.

He has a quick blade!

What grade is Jolley in? Someone said Jolley's reason was because they moved, is that the same reason for Ray and Campbell or are they just looking for a place to play?

I think both Ray and Campbell were home schooled last year. Neither have played in 2 years, like Warhorse said, they had some potential but both played positions where Central is loaded. Neither would have started this year if they would have stayed out at Central.

I appreciate everyone replying to our questions about these three. Good luck to Central. How many return from last year's team? That was a hard hitting bunch last year.

Central only lost 5 from last year, 2 on defense (DT, DE) 3 on offense (G, TE, RB). Hate to say it but those positions will be filled with bigger, faster, and stronger players this year. Central will miss Slack and Barnett's leadership and play making but they are loaded with tallent at the positions they played. Two transfers are in workouts and another is suppose to be there monday and all three will play and possibly start. D. J. King went through spring and is a beast at DE opposite returning all state DE Ben Stiles, both juniors. The other kid is from New Jersey and played QB but has skills that can be used else where if needed. All in All, a very skilled and experienced team returning on both sides of the ball.

Thought they lost a senior kicker too. Which guard is gone? The one who played right guard was a big one.

ha D.J. and Ben Stiles are gonna be a lot to handle for offensive lines this year.... let me go on record right now and say i'm predicting back to back All-State seasons for Ben Stiles.. the kid is a beast on the field and in the weight room... but D.J. might give him a run.. both can play...

Forgot about Will Watkins the kicker! /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" /> His replacement is raw BUT can kill a kickoff! Hit a couple through the uprights in the spring, 70 yds in the air! McCaslin was the guard that graduated. Really looking forward to this year!

saw that new kicker against mcminn.. booted the ball.. kicked one out of the endzone but the next out of bounds.. missed an extra point but its his first time ever playing you can't expect him to be perfect.. only gonna be a junior i believe.. McCaslim was a good guard.. big smart kid... played smart football..
