jimbo44
With proper guard development, her team mates could get her to the 4K mark before she graduates.
coachgat
With proper guard development, her team mates could get her to the 4K mark before she graduates. That's scary cause she is just a Sophomore right? Way to go young lady.
hoops fan2
the school's record is about 2400 points if you can believe that a girl named debra mahaney made that many in the 70s when they went to the state and she of course did this with NO three pointers (course Kayci does not shoot 3s -- but she was 100 percent in threes last season --- shot one made one !! tee hee really -- the coach and crowd went bezerk!!) debra started all four years - this was in the three on three days(so the points were not spread around) -- she was a great player she shot alot from the top of the key - best guess she would have easily had over 3000 IF there had been 3 pointers back then also they would have easily won the state back then - but this was before classifications were put in place poor girls lost to McGavock if i'm not mistaken what we now know is a triple a school -- and as a double a we would never face them in state tournament oh well --- WAY TO GO KAYCI --- she should hit 4000 she is a nice person - she gets beat to death on the floor and she takes it with grace - a lot for a 15 year old to endure - but she has some awesome teammates as well they are not jealous of her or aything like that

Lewisburg was the defending champs and on a very long win streak. They later lost to Bradley Central in that tournament. There were two classes...Large and Small. SC was in the Large class. Debra would have been a great 5 on 5 player. She would have had a lot of points. Kayci will break her record...very likely next year.
