West Tennessee Golden Circle All-Stars

The 2008 Golden Circle All-Star games will be played at Liberty Tech High School on Saturday May 31, 2008. Ballots have been sent to each coach in West Tennessee outside the Memphis area. Ballots are to be returned by March 17, 2008. This year "Coach T" members can participate by posting their nominations on this thread. "Coach T" list will be combined with the coaches ballots for the selection committee. Team Coaches will select 13 North girls, 13 South girls, 13 North boys, and 13 South boys during the first week of April. Nominated players can only be 2008 graduating seniors. North and South teams are selected by using Jackson and I-40 as the dividing line.

Rattling the Rim for RIFA will be Friday May 30, 2008 at Liberty Tech High School. The girls 3-Point Shooting Contest will begin at 6:00, followed by the Slam Dunk Contest. Last year's winner was Trinity Christian Academy's Quincy Scates. Judges where Willie Kemp/University of Memphis; Wayne Chism/UT Knoxville; Brandon Evans/East Carolina University; Regional & Richard Delk/Mississippi State University. All the processes are donated to RIFA. Any high school player from the West Tennessee area, grades 9-12 can participate. Registration forms can be picked up from your high school coach starting March 17, 2008 or by e-mailing your Name and Address to gcallstars@aeneas.net.

All nominations and request for Friday's contest will be accepted until February 29,2008.
