Dyer County vs Covington

I didn't see what happen, but I was told by someone who did see. Montrell got upset when one of the Covington coaches grabbed CJ on the back of his head and jerked it, after the game. Montrell was just taking up for little brother. I believe the coach did this in a jesture of good game, or something of that effect. Montrell took it wrong. So Montell got escorted out of the gym and that was the end of it. It was just a Big misunderstand. I don't believe Montrell hit a cop. End of story!!!

 

CJ stepped in between Cov.'s coach and McCord cause he thought the guy was going to hit McCord. Monterelle thought the coach was going to hit CJ. A Haywood sec. guard who knows Montrelle came over grabbed his arm told him he wasn't going down there. Montrelle jerked away said he was..his mother came said she would handle it..end of story. This info came from a person of authority. End of story.By God I'd be out of the stands to if I thought someone was going to hit my brother. IT IS OVER. Said Cov.'s coach apologized to all our players. As for Blake being put back in the game...THERE WERE SCOUTS THERE!! What coach wouldn't do the same??

Wasnt it Crittendons OLDER BROTHER WHO IS FROM DC THAT PUNCHED A COP AND GOT HAULED OUT???????????? but yall are perfect their in choctaw country so of course its covington's coaches fault that a DC kid got arrested. And to be honest... its not b/c you win so much.... its because you all are sooooo darn arrogant that nobody likes you. not that it matters to you b/c your perfect in your own eyes

 

Speaking of "your God" I am merely a by product of him which by virtue makes me flawed (wrong sometimes) just like everyone else. However, I feel what I said does hold water. Example, when a coach gives a pep talk to his team, the intention is to enovke a confidence and fire up his team. When he does this at a pep rally it is to do the same thing for the fans. So why is it surprising when you see your coach mouthing and jawing at the other team specifically the other coach it wouldn't evoke similar emotions. Don't think it's to far fetched if you ask me. If this was true then the pep talk would just be a waste of breath.

Good luck Choctaws, It really showed class when the fans cheered for Dyersburg Tuesday night, wish we could be playing again, but it wasn`t our best night, they gave us the game but our shots were not falling. Best of luck to all the seniors in whatever they decide to do.

Last line of your comment. That proves my point. Didnt you say earlier that he was just in to help the younger kids run the offense. Why would it matter if a scout was there if thats all he was doing? Makes no sense!!! Who puts a kid in for 30 seconds to stand and do "nothing" because a scout is there! You are condradicting yourself... if it was not YOU then it was another DC poster so you are contradicting each other at worst!

 

second of all i made a very clear statement that said NOT ALL OF YOUR IN ORANGE but all you (only about 5-8) DC posters on coacht T.

 

and my origional point was nobody bothered to mention it was a person from DC that got into it with the police... convienient how that was left out of the statement but it went right to how Covingtons coach probably caused it!

 

as for the pep talk comments.... wow, that was the worst analagy i've ever seen. if a covington fan had cause the problem or covington player then i could see the comparrison... last time i check the opposing coaches pep talk doesnt affect the OTHER team so your point is just rediculous since it was not a covington person reacting a following suit of the coach.

I dont hate dc or the kids on the team. I like most love to see em play and think they are like most kids... good but have a few problems here and there... nothing too serious. Its all you adults that make me sick with your holier than thou attitudes and arrogance. Just like the thread about how great yall always support every team.... that got put to rest real quick once one or two of you admitted that you were not as supportive of your teams that arent winning as some others had claimed. but, i'm done with it. no point in continuing this arguement. just really amazed and angered when two or three of you dc people suggested it was someone elses fault for one of your dc people getting in trouble.

I saw pretty much the whole thing. I did not see Montrell hit a cop. He wouldn`t have left Haywood Co. that night had that happened. He` a good guy that got ticked off when he saw a grown man in his brother`s face, shouting, pointing, cussing, stomping, and acting like a total jerk. This guy (a coach, mentor,haha!) was one inch away from committing a crime in front of thousands. An apology was the least he he could do.

 

You call us hypocritical? That`s a joke. Posters are continuosly trying to remind us of our past, you know, the years when we won 5 or 6 games, but then you get upset, as if it were any of your business, when we`re winning and showing pride in our school. I guess you would rather we not have a sports program at all.

 

You`re so caught up on someone getting in trouble and whose fault it was, so let me ask, Do you think Montrell would have been on the floor at all if their coach hadn`t acted such a jerk and started his screaming fit?

 

As for McCord, he`s a great coach that fits our system very well and any school would love to have him fitting into their system as well. INCLUDING YOURS!! It`s just a jealouy thing and we understand that. The more you get on here and trash our teams, it becomes much more apparent. Therefore, you are proving my point.

WHAT may I ask HAVE any of us PERSONALLY done to you?????????????? As for contradicting myself....I just found out about the scouts...I was taking a guess at what happend. I stated that. I had NO IDEA any of this happened with Montrelle AS I WAS NO WHERE NEAR IT. For God's sake if WE MAKE YOU SICK...simple solution...DON'T READ THE THREADS>then you won't get so incredibly bent out of whack. Heck I DON'T know you...I DON'T even know who some of the DC posters are. You maybe a nice guy...not going to say you aren't till I meet you. I'd shake anyone's hand on this board if I met them. Sure we banter but IT IS A MESSAGE board. THAT IS ALL. I don't lose any sleep OVER ANYTHING I have read or posted.
