District 11 A Picks

District: 11

 

Columbia Academy---Well everyone has to pick CA because of what they have coming back, has the best catcher in the state but she can only do so much.....will the pitching come this spring? I know that they are talking it up that this could be their year....Still question marks if they can win outside of their district! Major question mark? But with good coaching and a weak district except for Cornersville CA should walk to a district championship!

Cornersville--- should be number 2 and could push CA if they can play more tourney games and not a very weak schedule.

Huntland----and then the rest of the the district!

Richland------been a very long time since they have been in the hunt and it want happen this year either!

Culleoka--- didnt even have a team last year and had to wait until the Jr high girls got up to high school, should be ok but will not play for first!

Moore County----Is it football season yet?

Santa Fe---it is getting closer to BB season everyday!

I don't know how it will all shake out but Richland is for sure top three. I don't think there is that much difference in CA, Cornersville, and Richland. CA probably the favorite, but it should be a fight til the end just like the last couple of years.

Watch out for the Bulldogs winning it all this year! Cornersville beat CA last night 4-2. These two teams meet again Tuesday,04/29. Of course we are all aware that regular season games don't get you anywhere in the post season, but we will look at it as a good sign!

i think richland could win it if they play to their potential. didnt they make it to substate last yr? maybe it was regionals, but i think substate, anyway, they have alot of seniors and alot of experence with them.
