Knoxville Area Scores

Hello All,

 

I have recently started covering soccer in the Knoxville area for the Shopper-News. I'm the only reporter covering soccer, and I will only be covering a couple games a week. Since it's a weekly paper I'm also supposed to compile other scores from around the area from the week to include along with my stories.

 

Tonight I covered Halls-Oneida (2-2 for anyone interested) and I will be at the Farragut-Sevier County game Thursday. Outside of those two, any games in the Knoxville area you guys can provide me scores on would be great.

Shot count was Maryville 14 - 7 Pigeon Forge.

 

Pigeon Forge has a solid team. Probably one of the best teams they have had recent history. They have some tricky players up the middle and if you let them hang around they can be dangerous.

Ned, how is ridge? One of my players said he had hurt his ankle.

He's fine. He has had an ankle problem for quite some time, stemming from last year, but he's fine with an ankle brace. It may require surgery at the end of the season, but for now he's fine.
