QB for Alcoa `2008

With Randall Cobb heading to Kentucky, who will be the field general for Alcoa this season?

 

The three upcoming QB's are: SR. Chase James, JR. Logan Sharp, and SO.Talent.

Alcoa's success this upcoming season will come down to QB play most of all.

 

Also sense you mention Sam & Co, I look for great things from Sam Thompson this season. BUT, the Co. part needs to become a solid second go to WR. I except Tyler Robinson to be even better at TE which helps, but a solid second WR to take some of the heat off Sam will be needed. I'd like to see #4 S. Well, I personally believe the race will be between Chase James and Austin Tallent, and I don't believe we can go too wrong with either. Personally, I believe Tallent should get the nod, not only because he will be a very good QB by the time he's done at Alcoa, but also because of Chase's athleticism. As stated before, we need a good solid #2 receiver, and with Chase's athleticism I believe that void can be filled.

I heard from a friend of mine that Alcoa may be getting a kid from South Carolina. I heard the kid was like 6'5 220lbs.

Yep, that was the real reason for this thread, to see if anyone else would step up and state anything they had heard.

 

All the players I talk to, tell me the same thing. Plus, I know one lower string QB transfered to WB for this reason.

 

When is spring practice for Alcoa? Maybe we will find out more then........................

Spring practice will not be until after baseball, tennis and soccer are done. Coaches want all the player there.

Another rumor is that Alcoa may be getting Knox Fulton's QB from last year (Stinson).
