although a great season for Victor Mclin, I'm sure if he was to come to DC the guy would have had one of the best seasons around.... Also it would have been nice to have a big guy to send the ball to....

Prediction: maybe in top 20 of the state if he came maybe higher... outstanding athelete

McLin is rated number 42 and I'm suprised he is that high to be honest. When I saw him I was not impressed at all. I don't know if I've ever seen a guy with such a height advantage over another team miss so many shots 5 to 7 feet from the basket and he couldn't handle the ball very well with both hands either. He might be a decent athlete but those are a dime a dozen. Really good players have a high skill level to go along with the athleteic ability. His skill level didn't seem all that to me. I say NAIA at best and even then he will need some work.

Legend....I agree!!! Buckner will be one of the most sought after players in the state. Mid -Majors will back off and not even recruit him because they will be completely out of the running. Only the high majors will recruit him. I would love to see him go to Arizona and play for Lute Olson. He will better than J.P. Prince in my opinion. Prince left Arizona for UT because he wasn't playing. At least thats how it appeared from the box scores. Not saying Prince isn't good...he might have a shot at the League if he could shoot....Prince is good but his shot is the big weakness in his game.

Buckner is now on Rivals. 3-star prospect and thats on word of mouth. The scouts for Rivals are set to see Buckner play for the Memphis Y with McDonald, J.Williams, and Hall. They will travel to the Nike Boo Williams tourney next week. The people from Rivals said they will view him there. I think the 3-stars will go to 5-stars. Buckner plays SG/SF for that team. They have a big line-up. 6'4" L. McDonald at the Point- 6"8" Buckner at the 2- 6'8" F. Hall at the 3- 6'8" J. Williams the 4- 6'7" C. Macklin at the 5 spot. The Y played a college team this past weekend and won. Bucker & McDonald put on a show.

WOW...what a team....I will be follwing all these players over the summer. Buckner will at the very least be a 4 star and a top 50 player nationally going into his senior year. McDonald, Buckner, and Hall all on the same team...Has to be the best AAU team in the State. I stated back during the season that I though Buckner could actually play point if asked to do so. I don't see that happening but I think his skill level is that good.

That sounds impressive...with Buckner playing the 2-3 with his size will certainly boost his ratings...Legend who else is on that team and what's the recruiting status on Mcfadgon(6'6 kid I believe) and BTW's Timothy Ware

I don't see that happening but I think his skill level is that good.

His Coach said with Willie Payne & Derrick Richards gone he will play more point next year. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

Buckner is all that and a bag of chips /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> What college team did they play?

LeMoyne-Owen College

WOW...what a team....I will be follwing all these players over the summer. Buckner will at the very least be a 4 star and a top 50 player nationally going into his senior year. McDonald, Buckner, and Hall all on the same team...Has to be the best AAU team in the State. I stated back during the season that I though Buckner could actually play point if asked to do so. I don't see that happening but I think his skill level is that good.

That team had Justin Blake last year too! That was/is a team in a half!!! I don't see many teams being able to compete with them!

That sounds impressive...with Buckner playing the 2-3 with his size will certainly boost his ratings...Legend who else is on that team and what's the recruiting status on Mcfadgon(6'6 kid I believe) and BTW's Timothy Ware

Ware may try a Andre Allen type move at Memphis. McFadgon has narrowed it down to 2 schools I cant say the names but will let you no on the 8th.
