I feel you too critical of these kids, but I am becoming more receptive to the daily comic relief you are providing. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

You have to lighten up and enjoy the entertainment. He's far more funny than accurate. Actually, he reminds me of myself in ways. I love to agitate but I don't usually take his approach in the sports forum. I save it for the open forum. There is a line. He gets close to it but knows where to stop. To some though, the line gets the best of them and they finally cross it. Hopefully, this will not be the case. There are young people on here that need positive reinforcement but THAT'S not always the way the real world works. As I told my two daughters when they played. If you want to shut them up, dig deeper and bring your A game. That usually does the trick. Besides, in some cases, what better motivation? I used it on my own girls rampantly! /cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" />

If you don't make it to Brentwood, we'll all meet up in football town @ Border Battle for a grilled ribeye sandwich. That is the best thing they do there. Looking forward to it.

Thank you ERA but if you check the scores you will see that MrNoitAll has only missed 3 or 4 games....that is better than accurate, that is being pretty good in any picks! It would win you a lot of money in some places! But you are right when you get tired of losing you will do one of two things.......dig deeper or go to the house....I hope they dig deeper! I have not seen them play this year! But I plan to watch them at the Duff this year. I have played them in the past years, but for any team to be a successful it takes many things: Players who are players, pitching, hitting, fielding, players willing to work hard and to get better each day, parents who are not second guessing the coaches, players who play travel ball, going to pitching lessons in the off season, hitting lessons in the off season, lifting weights and getting quicker and stronger, have a positive attitude about being coached, and not getting down on themselves or the team when things go bad, a great booster club. But it all starts in the circle! Plus you need a coach who is willing and able to get the most out of the team! Some coaches have it and some dont. Like some doctors are great and some you would not take your dog too. I do know Coach Jones and I think he is a good coach! /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />

I think Mr. Noitall was correct in saying that a slew of things have to fall into place. One has to think that a school that size has some students (boys and girls) with athletic ability especially since the Cavalier Baseball team is so competitive. Whether or not that ability is honed in on I have no idea. Through the circle of softball parents in the district I heard they didn't lose any seniors last year but they did lose their all district catcher and one of the best young pitchers I've ever seen in the circle. Watching them last night at the Worth Tournament against Dickson County those 2 girls were indeed not with the team and you could tell it on defense and offense. I don't know much about their current coach other than he had some big shoes to fill. Can he do it? Only time will tell.

MrNoitall you said; Lipscomb vs. Coffee County??”The CC teams has a bunch of problems and facing Lipscomb is not a good team to be facing. Lipscomb is only a AA school but will be good enough to beat this AAA school. Loser is CC!

MrNoNothing, CC is coming back strong beat Lipscomb 13-4. I'll keep you updated because I know you want to know.

The All-Distict catcher did not quit the team. Missed a scheduled PRACTISE in DEC 2007 and was ejected from the team, after being made to run 5 MILES. Missed because she was having a hitting lesson in Nashville.
