Baylor 3-0. Baylor has two extremely crafty forwards, and Webb has an inexperienced defense. Webb is solid through the midfield, and they have some size and speed up top, but they are absolutely no match for Baylor's attack.

#10 and #2 on Baylor will have a field day.

I think Paul Lee and Jon Fuqua will be able to shut down Kelly and there forward whose name i cant remember. Webb doesnt have a great D but they have some players that can mark anyone. i.e. Paul and Jon....I dont know what kind of year that Hutchins is having but he is always deadly up top. I call Webb to win 2-1 and make it three in a row vs the defending state champs

Zander Davis is the other forward - #2. Should be a very good game. Wonder if Knox will bunker in or if they will come to play. I think Baylor will have their most inspired game of the year, thus far. (This based on losing two tough games to Webb last year 1-0.) Look for Baylor to pour it on if they can. I say Baylor 3-0.

Could be a wet game if the forecast is true for Friday evening.

I think the forward is Carter Paden that he is talking about. In Ooltewah's scrimmage with Baylor it was their defense that controlled the game. I was impressed by their forwards also. They had alot if I remember that they move in and out. I would put their defense up against anyones. My prediction is a Baylor shutout. Baylor 2-0.

I'm saying if Webb's forwards come to play tommorow it will be a win for Webb for sure. I do not understand why people think webb has an unexperienced defense whenever there are four seniors back there who have played all throughout their high school career. As long as cisqo will pass the ball, and if hutchins and jared come to play Baylor's "strong" defense should have their hands full. It will be a great game and I'm excited to see the outcome. Great luck to both teams and Webb I hope to see you guys pull out the underdog victory.

You mean Webb's back four are seniors that have played throughout their time at Webb? If that is the case I don't understand the comments about inexperience either. That being why wouldn't Webb's forwards come to play. Of course they will....this is a hugh region game with alot of playoff implications. Baylor's defense is very "strong" allowing just 1 goal to date thru 6 games. We are deeper at the forward position this year...look for a great game and look for a Red Raider victory.....say 2-0.

    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
    • No sir. I watched it specifically and it was very dirty. He cleated the boy on purpose. Apparently, it’s an issue in football as well from what several schools have said. That said, looking forward to a good game 3. ER hit it well in game 2.
    • He is the transfer. 5star spoke on him in their new qb1 series. Didn’t list em as a transfer but I knew the name
    • Gunner Warren was the second starter, freshman. SP #1 arm impressed me last night.
