If Bolivar starts Irvin and hits well , Waverly better bring there "A" game or they will get rolled by the green Tigers .

im telling you right now, purcell from waverly is a very good pitcher. with him on the mound, waverly has a very good chance to beat anybody.

see this will be their only problem. they havent seen stud pitching all year. but their freshman pitcher is great.

It's not about Waverly's hitting when Purcell is on the mound. I heard today that he was 8-0 and gave up 2 earned runs this season. I don't know how factual that is, but he is a very good pitcher and has a lot of poise for a freshman. He doesn't typically need a lot in the way of run support. He's the epitomy of the crafty lefty.

I don't know much about Purcell and his pitching but even with a great pitcher, if your hitting doesn't put runs on the board u can't win

they are a pretty good team. and you will be surprised at what this kid can do.
