new coach at Goodpasture

The word today is that coach Spann from Ezell may be the new coach at Goodpasture. Haven't heard officially but pretty reliable. This would be a great get by GP. Maybe he could rebuild it from the ground up as it needs it badly. It's amazing how the circumstances surrounding the departure of the last coach has been kept quiet. Anyway if this happens, it would be great for the returning players and bad for Ezell. Anyone else heard this?

Why would he leave Ezell-Harding for Goodpasture? Goodpasture's girls have been down for quite some time and their middle school team offers no glimpse of better times.

4, this poster thinks that would be the logical reason and the reason for more money is that Goodpasture has lost some prestige by their team being down and prestige means everything to a private school: students, fans, and people in the seats to pay for the athletic programs. EH is hot now and has the prestige and has the students. Now maybe discredit the coach, maybe not. It's hard to believe that would happen. If the chance came, hiring the coach would be a good move.

What does any of that mean?

Code of ethics, school policy, married policy, or even common sense at that matter would state that he shouldn't have been in a position with female students from the first incident at davidson acadamy but if you hire him you put the blame on yourself as a school for not doing a background check on someone who will be involved with students.
