HesterBeSeeinULater
The problem with 09 when they rezone, alot of athletes will go to west creek then for 2 to 3 years northeast will have 3a numbers but be playing 4a I cant see things changing for awhile at northeast but good luck to them I hope that a Northwest fan isn't downing anyone. The Vikings are nowhere near a contender in their own right.

theydontcare
better check the new rules under z plan. Northeast now placed in region with dickson, henry, clarksville, rossview, kenwood, and Northwest. Only two of the teams in the region that are 4A are a shoe in, but one wild card may get a chance. Sorry people, Northeast will not contend! Best record next year will be 2-8 at best. The county will not let you win, because they care more about academics than giving incentives to go to school. Remember that students want to go to school to learn, and nothing else. This county is a joke.

Those things are not mutually exclusive as GOOD coiaches strive to make sure the atheletes they coach keep their grades up so they are eligible for future education. Participation in sports also teaches the kids discipline so they will study also. Sounds like it is the folks in the administration that needs the education when it comes to modern day sports. /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="

NE is going to be allowed to go off of their fall enrollment of 2009. It's already been determined.

theydontcare
clarksville would be better off to go open enrollement and create a super program at clarksville high for any athlete that would like to be a winner. Hey, that is what Marryville does! Look at how good that county is with 4 schools. At top is Marryville, second Alcoa, third William Blount, and last Harritage. Granted one never has a winning season at football, but one is the winnings team in the state. Maybe clarksville needs to take lessons. Combine Clarksville, Kenwood, Rossview, Montgomery Central, Clarksville Academy, Northeast, and Northwest. You are then talking about having a school with well over 6,000 students /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

OK if they are willing to play a COMBINED Rutherford County team. R'dale. Smyrna, Oakland, Blackamn, Siegel and LaVergne! /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" /> /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" /> Oh, and there is also Eagleville to get subs from 'if needed'! theydontcare
Marryville has a number they meet and don't go above that number. The students outside the zone can pay a fee of 2500 dollars to go to the school of their choice if they have a slot open at the school. So that is why there numbers are still 4-5A. Footballfan15
Northeast will never have a decent program under present admin.
RozvuePhan
Clarksville wouldnt benefit from consolidation because nobody up here cares about football. At least in and around Murfreesboro there is tradition and people care about the sport.
