Another question, what is the word on Moretz. Heard it might not work out, how in the world did it take this long for them to figure it out. Thats terrible to tell the kid now. That can ruin a whole senior year. Anyone know anything about this?

 

It's the kind of stuff that can't be discussed on here. From what I hear it is a very messy issue. One I don't see getting resolved. I will say that it is of no fault of anyone in the Rebel camp. Too bad also because there was a place for him. I'm not saying it is over...just in limbo...to put it nicely.

Core...most Sophmores...almost all Sophmores are 15 at the beginning of football season...some are 14 because they have late birthdays. MOST don't have a birthday until after January following December following football season when they were 15. Do you get it now?

 

Well, Comp, I still see alot of debate in subsequent posts as to whether CS is 16 or 17. So, not knowing that, I will hold my remarks, other than to say that if he is 16--that only makes him 1 year older. Again, I think that 1 year probably made a difference as a frosh and maybe as a Soph, but when it comes to his Junior and Senior year, he's going to be a "man" either way. Point in case: When he was in 7th grade--age-wise, he was an 8th grader---and Col.Hts pounded him into submission in 2nd Qtr. His 8th grade yr--he, along with Cassell, made Col.Hts look like a flag football team. Now, that being true as it is-- it is absolutely a mute point as to how his new career unfolds.

Like I said before----he the real deal, and under the TSSAA radar- there is no age issue, so n my opinion the debate is over.

 

I'm done with this thread. There are some responsible posters on here, but the thread has been taken over by a bunch of grade-schoolers who just want to fuss and argue and talk about DB/SS '09. So , since I starting the thread, I'm just going to wait until another thread is posted. This one has worn out it's welcome.

But it does need to be discussed. It IS a real messy issue. No, Rebel camp is not to blame at all I believe. Powers that be at the other location seem to be the ones with the issues. More will come out on that at a later time I'm sure.
