Pujo, maybe our Highlanders might have a chance against Avery. What do you think?

They've got a good chance, but the word is not all of avery players were at the srimmage, due to vacations and being penalized for something. I'm not sure /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=" maybe someone, out there, knows the whole story.

Avery will be better, they had 3 boys who couldn't play,In NC you have to have x amount of days without pads and then x amount of days in pads, for various reasons ,these guys didn't have their days in.One of Hamptons best players didn;t make the trip either. Another thing is,they had only been in pads for 2 days I think. I don't think Cloudland will just run all over them, but to be honest,Avery looks very beatable.

being at home helps to especially if you play on your home field side /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

Being at home will help period, I look for a huge and very loud bunch, Avery should also bring a large crowd, but they never make alot of noise. As long as Cloudland stays in the game, it will get louder and louder. I just hope adults can act grown up and let the kids handle the outcome. This is a great game for both sides and I hope they continue to play in the future, Anyone getting excited.

It starts out at 5:30 with the jr high kick, punt, pass, and races. Then the jr. high play 3 games that will be 8 minutes each. The highschool kick, punt, pass, and races are to follow immediately after. And then finally Hampton and Cloudland square off and also Unaka against Happy Valley in the finale. Highschools will play one 12 minute quarter. It should be a great night of football and we should get a glimpse of what is to come of this season. Good luck to all teams and lets all pray that nobody gets hurt this season.

    • Yeah, we came up short. I remember we threw a ball over the middle to #5 Guymon? and he came up short of the sticks. Gave em he&& for a bit though.
    • Doe dee doe doe…..hmmmmmmm one of those players can run faster than my lawnmower when I put it in 5th gear turbo.  You can bet the lawnmower on that.
    • Yeah I am on board and plan on coming down from the Ridge for some home games, great Friday night atmosphere there.  I'm really hoping SC can get them back going and have some success for those fans and community.
    • Yep I was field level on the scoreboard end throwing ball with Benny when we had that brief lead. Everybody got very excited but it was short lived as Murvil regrouped and went into machine mode. But yeah,  that hit sounded like the crack of a black powder rifle being fire.  I believe Dozier took one like that as a Soph up at Greeneville after on olay block.
    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
