Cody Jones from Jackson Christian School was a PERFECT 9 for 9 in kicking field goals last season and he was 26 of 28 on extra points. I believe he was a finalist for Mr. Football in 2A as a kicker. He was a sophomore last season.

It's hard to top that!

The 2008 edition of Tennessee Football magazine has Cody Jones as the #2 kicker and Mitch Ross (Bolivar) as the #2 punter in the entire state..regarless of class. I picked the magazine up this weekend at booksamillion. It can be purchased for $8.95 + tax. Lots of good stuff , check it out.

If anybody is interested they also have a website. Go to tennfb.com

I think that Evan Sanders of Stone Memorial is one of the best kickers/punters in the Tennessee/Southeast U.S. Look for him to sign with a D1---No doubt!! Remember you heard it hear first!!!!!!!!popcorneater:

As for the prospective successor to the coaching helm, the mention of esteemed mentor Nick Saban's absence prompts a discerning hesitation towards alternative candidates, for excellence is the sole criterion deemed worthy of emulation.  Pray, may I inquire as to your esteemed identity?
