Hickman lost, but there are concerns as to how this played out, with no scoreboard and mass confusion due to this, it had a factor on this game, DJ did not know it was the 4th down, this is the same Q-back that was there last year in the playoffs, he knows what to do, but with no scoreboard???????????? Whats up with that? They should of had a alternative plan. This is a legitimate concern and taking childish shots like this .............is it nessesary ? That really was rediculous. but for what its worth Hickman lost and they will move on. congradulations to Marshall County.

ok you have to stop using the scoreboard malfunctions as an excuse...you have to be able to handle adversity...i was on the defense the entire game including the 4th down when he spiked the ball...my back was to the scoreboard and i still knew it was 4th down...all you can say was it was a bad mental mistake...at least it wasn't a region game for the Bulldogs...congrats to the Tigers and good luck to both the Tigers and the Bulldogs

Oh the 4th down thing... There should have been a big "4" on the chains on the sideline... look there if the scoreboard isn't working... or at the ref who holds up his fist... for future reference.

Actually, the refs weren't giving the proper signals. It was one of the biggest complaints I heard from the boys as they came off the field. I think both teams played extremely well, and it wasn't exactly a blowout either way. D.J. spiked the ball on the 4th down, because he didn't know it was the 4th down. It was a mistake. They happen. My brother was out there for Hickman County, and he said that between the Marshall Co. band playing while the teams were getting set (which they shouldn't have been...) and all the fan noise, you couldn't hear anything. But regardless, I don't think either team has anything to be ashamed of.

Iv been around real football an there a physicaly good team. i guess ur a Marshall county fan im realy close freinds with the staff over there.where im from they have had 2 down years 12-1, 11-1 . 11 and 12 wins ant enough where im from don't get it twisted. Im use to seeing all-staters, all-americans, players that pay no mind to all- region honors even though they play in the best region in the state.Its cool i understand you didn't no you thought i was some country red neck die hard hickman fan. like a guys said earlier watch what you say on here. I never said hickman would win i said their well coached and they have a chance to be in the 2a title game never did i say their gone beat the brakes off marshall, i can tell you who want have a chance at the 4a title game.
