i think oneida wins this game.. BUT you cant forget its oneida and coalfield regardless of either teams record this is a big rival game, and anything can happen! and i know Henry will be ready for a battle

Yep, I remeber 2 years ago Coalfield coming to Oneida and winning 7-0. The yellow jackets went on to finish 14-1 while the Indians finshed up 5-6. If your not expecting a grudge match, then you don't know Oneida/Coalfield.

Scalper is going to accuse me of trying to get on the band wagon, but the change in coaching has caused big trouble at Coalfield. But I think Coach Henry needs more time to get his ducks in a row.The late coaching change has been rough. Oneida will win this one, but closer than the Oneida Faithful would like it.

OHS 34 Coalfield Maybe 7 Just the way i see it.

As if everyone doesn't know, I TRULY have the UPMOST respect for Coach Keith Henry, always have and always will.HOO-RAHHHHH!!!! With that being said, I know that Coalfield is biting at the bits to get a win over us and you can bet they will play their hearts out when they travel up here this week.I hope that our guys don't get the big head and think this one will be a cakewalk because it won't. You can bet your tail that Coach Lambo and the gang wil have our guys ready and i hope we get out of here with the win. This is Coalfield week, ENOUGH SAID!!!

One other question, I wonder what side of the fence the "brothers" will be on? /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" /> Sorry but had to throw that one out there coach.

No need telling the players to practice hard this week. All anyone who is familiar with Oneida Football has to say is COALFIELD.

    • Best-of-three sectional series vs East Robertson at home starting Wednesday.  They put us out last year at this point.  Go Pirates!!
    • I don't believe they have anyone that is surbers caliber but a decent staff overall.
    • Richland plays at McKenzie on Wed.  Should be a good series.  Does Richland have good pitching?
    • Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
