southernpride
How is Eagleville doing in their first year? How did they do in the scrimmage with Mt. Pleasant? Were there any Riverdale students who transfered to play football at the new program? [Edited by caesar on 8/3/02 10:16P]
ELA
Eagleville 30, Mt. Pleasant 12 - more to come. How has Eagleville jumped out to such a great start? Very seldom does a new football team defeat an older, established team like Mt. Pleasant! The coaches must be doing a great job with the skill players from baseball and basketball! Where do they play? What kind of field do they have?
baseballer10466
Eagleville played Forrest last week and everything was about even and then we played Mt. Pleasant last friday and beat them 30-12. Our coaches are doing an excellent job teacing us the game of football. We are getting better everyday and we are looking foward to this season. Eagleville plays Celina Tues. 8-6-02 6:00 @ Eaglville.

Guest sptsicon
Eagleville certainly deserves credit. they loom to be a force in the very near future. though this is gonna be a tough year for mt. pleasant. the tigers are playing a lot of 9th, 10th and newcomers this year, thus are rebuilding. same of mt. pleasant's top talent played in four consecutive baseball tournaments, winning the state american legion in savannah and competing in the 16's regional at new albany, miss. bulldawg44
Celina and Eagleville played tonight. Celina came out flat, but then turned it up and started to play ball. Final Score Celina-30 Eagleville-6.

purple75gold
Is Eagleville going to have anymore games before the season starts? If anyone has a schedule please post it.
ELA
The coaches at Eagleville are doing a great job with their new football program. Their team is physical, energetic, and they have a large number of kids playing ball. It looked like they had almost 40 kids in uniform, and for a brand new sport, they did very well. All of you guys in Region 6-1A need to pay attention to this little school! They will challenge many of the teams in that region next year when they start region play (2003)! blueboy
Ela, Eagleville will be one of the larger schools in the region with 335 students according to the TSSAA count. Columbia Acd has 217, Huntland 253, Moore Co 261, Cornersville 244, Cascade 302, Collinwood 324, Forrest 347, Wayne Co 349 and Mt Pleasant has 349. If Eagleville plays in Region 6 1A, that would be 10 teams.
