Lancaster Christian @ David Brainerd. Predictions?

I really don't think David Brainerd's line is going to be as bad as it was against Lookout Valley. During those two weeks, there was no hitting drills at all. This week, in preparation for another running team, hitting has been all the Wildcats have been doing. And anyway, I don't care what you say, unless you're a college or NFL team, there's no way you can stop Will Keebler or Patrick McCullough or DeMarcus Rogers or Travis Smith.

Injury update: Junior Receiver Dillon McGregor was hurt this week in practice, Freshman Jake Archey will probably replace him this weekend.

Plus...it's the first game UNDER THE LIGHTS!!!

DBCS: 27

LCA: 14

lol I'm glad to hear they've been practicing hard...how well do I know coach settles and company or what....see my very first post on this topic

Lets not get to carried away. Its one thing to have pride in your school, its another to be ridiculous. DBCS is ranked in the bottom 300 schools in the state. I think 309 to be correct, out of about 325. I am sure that some middle school teams in TN could give DBCS a run for their money.

LCA 32

DBCS 24

Good luck getting LCA's offense off the field tomorrow night

Go Knights!

You know graider1976, I've been reading your comments in this thread, and I'm sure you think you are calling it like you see it, but your ignorance may have a way of coming back to haunt you. Calling DB 'terrible in years past' may be true in your mind, but how do you know? Had you ever seen DB play until last year? Bad mouthing your own coach (humiliating the defensive coordinator/).. not a good thing to do..... Now, saying some middle school teams could give DB a run for their money? You just don't know when to stop the ignorance. High school rankings in the state of TN are crazy. The only ones that even are close are the top 5 or 10 teams. Several years back, I think I was probably in your shoes... a small, start up program, thinking we were better than we really were (just like you).... I learned my lesson, and you will to. Just like you said in a previous post, LCA has absolutely nothing to lose (that tells me a lot about the state of your program).... keep up the posts, they are quite entertaining!

Correction: ...college, NFL, or Lookout Valley high school team...

true...I fail to see how that helps you though yes LCA is 3-0 but against who? MJCA, Faith Christian Academy, and Pickett county? are you seriously comparing those teams to looktout valley who went to the second round of the playoffs last year? ....and what in the world is wrong with giving your favorite team love....at least we know how to spend more time giving love to our own team than ridiculing the other team's fans for praising their team, and I know you won't have any problem getting dbcs off the field on offense because they'll only be on long enough to score about four of five touchdown's and the rest of the night y'all will be running it down to the redzone and then stalling out, scoring occasionally

There's love and then there's absurdity. I believe the NFL/college comment fell within the latter of the two.

None of the comments in this thread help the cause of our teams. It's simply entertainment to argue with someone you can't see.

By the way I heard that LCA's gameplan was to try to get deep on the DBCS corners by coming out in the spread. I think coach may have seen a weakness within the 4-4 defense in the game film. What do you think? LCA has some pretty good receivers this year.

You are correct, comparing those few athletes on DB to college/NFL is over the top.

However, why would you be talking about gameplan of your team? I doubt that will happen, it takes longer then a week to change from a wing offense to a spread.

    • It was not ACHS at all, they have zero reason to worry about Clinton.  It had to do with a kid (non football player)  that had a charge and appeared in front of the juvenile judge.  The judge saw that the kid was way behind credit wise for his grade and told him to reappear in a month with a plan to graduate.  When the kid reappeared he had more that twice the credits than one month before.  The judge called BS and contacted the school.  That is what started the investigation.  This involves multiple students, but to this point no athletes are involved.
    • I believe the Covington Chargers travel to Trenton Peabody for a scrimmage today? Anyone going to this? Curious how the Chargers will do.
    • Good ole Bradley Zulliger. He was a really good QB @ OR. Fun to watch.  Wore #15 and was like a mini Tebow, with the exception of being right handed. He could take a pounding and keep on ticking. Played with a collapsed lung against Powell that year. Tough as nails.
    • They should be pretty good in year two for Rang.  Replacing most of the offensive production losing Dozier, Hayward and Rembert , but they're are skill kids in place ready for their shot.  I know I say this every year, but the o line should show improvement after two years in Rang and Kevin Day's weight program.  I still would favor West over Plow and OR come November.  The Rebs will have to grow up a bunch between now and then, and will probably take some lumps along the way with that schedule.  But I predict come playoff time they will be ready.   One of their coaches half joked to me that they could go 5-5 regular season and win the state championship.  Ha ha.
    • there will be a couple of teams, that could make some noise
