I think that the top 3 qb are probably all in West Tennessee but the best that i have seen and what The Jackson Sun wll also say is Justin Coleman of Milan. Teague from Henry County may pass it 5 times a game and they dont really play anyone. Gilcrest from Hardin County a better passer and runner that evryone knows. But Coleman is well known in the West and is a dark horse like Patrick Willis was. Under the radar!!!

Hang on there HUSKER!!! The Advisor doesn't know for certain what town in the Volunteer state you hail from but if you will re-read you own post, you will find that on Halloween night HC and Hardin County square off in Paris. Hard to say HC doesn't play anyone.......ever heard of Brighton or Liberty....they beat Jackson SS last week who most will admit is a pretty good West TN football team.

Something else no one has mentioned that needs to be said.....in the mix for Teague are Georgia Tech, Clemson, and Vandy. Without at least a GPA of 3.0, you don't even get the letters..........much less the phone calls, invitations, and visits! Hats of to Marsalias for his classroom work as well!

And for Shonte Simms.......keep in mind that he may also be a D-1 basketball prospect as well! Shonte is a unique athlete with amazing ability. Don't be surprised if he isn't getting the same type of attention next year from these same schools in two different sports!!

Logan Little of The Grace Christian Academy. He threw for nearly 400 yards last week and led his team to 61 points. The Grace Christian Academy??”Striving for Perfection in 2008.

What a performance! He should have another outstanding night against another stellar opponent this week. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> Maybe they will let him stay in the WHOLE game this time and he can eclipse that 400 yard mark. When he puts up big numbers on a good team call back please, and I know that we played TKA as well, but our JV scored our last 14, we pulled our starters after it was 21-0 before anybody says anything about us playing them. /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

Although only a Sophomore, Hunter Poteete from Dekalb County is an excellent QB. We played them in the summer and he can make all the throws and runs the ball well too. His mind is that of a Sr, making really quick pre-snap reads. He isn't the best yet, but he is a solid D1 prospect, especially with a couple more inches of height on him.

    • Winfree's senior year was the season she needed to secure more college interest. That opportunity was taken away from her. A lot of false assumptions can be made about what happened and what the options are. Unfortunately, the former coach and administration did not allow Winfree to have due process. A lawsuit was filed for a reason, and it will run its course by people who conduct discovery and take depositions. Unless the parties settle out of court, a lot of the pertinent issues will come to the public surface. I wrote about many of the issues here: https://bdnewsletter.news/2023/11/17/grounds-for-investigation-and-suspension/ I interviewed Winfree after she was dismissed from the team and wrote about it here: https://bdnewsletter.news/2023/12/01/a-new-interview-with-sable-winfree/ Winfree had been on teams in Warren County since the fourth grade and never been dismissed from a team. The real questions are why was Winfree dismissed from the team, and why the administration backed a coach whom they did not rehire.
    • What is the hold up here? I have not heard anything in weeks. Are they waiting for the right person or is something else going on?
    • Per usual, we'll be hard to beat in the regular season, I'm sure. It's the post season that I'm more worried about, specifically the coaches. Maybe they'll be able to make some adjustments that will keep the momentum in our favor. How's Grays recovery coming along?
    • Something don’t add up here a college coach is not going to turn away a good player they need just because they didn’t get along with their high school coach
    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
