I noticed all 10 points Smyrna had tonight were from 2 guys who started out playing at LaVergne.

 

Doesn't bode well for future seasons at Smyrna as those 2 are both seniors.

 

Just as Riverdale now has 3 losses already, Smyrna will have some LONG seasons in the not too distant future.

Hats off to a patched-up offensive line that allowed Lebanon's (21) Maynard to rush for 201 yards and 2 TDs. Really liked Lavergne quarterback Landon Grooms (No. 6) Just a soph.

Tut Tut boys. Lavergne should change their colors to green because of the envy they have for Smyrna. You mention the scores by former Lavergne players. If this Booker kid or your new QB are any good and not seniors do you think they won't run to Smyrna? And down years? Smyrna has made the playoffs for years and will again this year after feeding on the weak teams of the region like the loserines.
