Don't you just love all of our haters ! I think they're sort of cute ... I guess it makes them feel like they're a part of this historic team .... sort of like a tick biting on the hind quarters of Ol Smokey !! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

 

 

Which game are you all watching? Because the UT -Florida thing is not really a game.

 

I looks like the tick must have taken Smokey out!

Not 1 time did I say mention your wife or even reference your wife I was talking about a totally different fat girl.

 

 

Just so I understand, You came on to take up for the kids & then you make fun of women who are overweight. No wonder you are single Matt. Stop projecting the Barbie image to all of our female readers because that is what little girls think they have to live up to. Stop being mean.

wait a minute you competed in beauty pagents and were crowned miss georgia and I'm the one "projecting the Barbie image". no wonder you had little enough sense to marry this guy. i'm truly sorry for you. both

Ok, sounds like you need a lesson in trash talking.

 

Lesson #1 -

 

When you have just been beaten 45-6 the day before and dominated in every facet of the game (at home no less), it is typically best to just shut your mouth for a while.

Wow. We get beat 45-6 and look about as bad as I've ever seen Powell look, and someone has the nerve to get on here and assume that we are a lock for he playoffs and not only that but advance beyond the first round in order to meet MHS. WOW. I don't understand some Powell fans. With Halls, West, Central, and Clinton all looking like solid competitive football teams, I don't think I would assume that Powell is going to keep it's playoff streak alive. Not to mention, AC is rolling into town this week at 5-0 and they put it on us last year. I'm not saying that Powell won't make the playoffs. Halls is a home game and I think 2005 was the last time the road team won that game. So Powell will be competitive in that game, and you can throw out the record books when those two teams meet anyway. Clinton beat Powell at Powell last year and I don't see how the Panthers will stop hazlehurst at all this year. I don't know much about West or Central yet...and I know nothing about South Doyle either way they may be in the hunt as well I just don't know. I guess my point is, IDONTKNOWFOOTBALL, please shut up. You make the rest of Powell fans look bad when you make assumption like you do, and you are only giving other teams bulletin board material for later in the year. I wish we could all take that Jim Rome approach.... if your going to post, have a take and don't s*ck.

 

Congrats to the rebs and GQ btw. Looks like they continue to get better every week and that program is in good hands with Juhlin (sp?) for the next two seasons, i think. Also 26 was very very impressive to me. That kid was the personification of a high school linebacker.

There you go again, talking about something you know nothing about, a pageant is about a combination of things- skill & civic duty are also included in that. Making fun of a woman's weight is uncalled for. The "Barbie image" means you expect every one to be skinny & you laugh at those who are not. I think you may have some issues. I am willing to help you. Tell me about your Mother? Or another female figure in your life that caused you pain?

 

I just looked at Maryville's schedule again, with all due respect to all who read this I will "guarantee" Maryville will go undefeated this year. Look who you all have lined up. Nothing personal , but if you stay on a board long enough you start to take on the attitude of the community.

 

I will say it again, Maryville will win the state championship again & will go undefeated. It's hard to debate me after that has been said.

 

 

Also on UT, are they the new Vanderbilt of the SEC?

      One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.

      If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.

      I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
