District 8AAA - New predictions

I haven't heard anything about District 8AAA. I know Columbia and Shelbyville are playing well. What do you guys think?

I was hoping you would chime in with your thoughts of that defense. Worked for a while against Riverdale, but eventually caught up with them and allowed too many break-aways.

Way too dangerous. You have to have a GREAT keeper and you are putting the AR's in control of your defense. That said, the 4-5-1 that Blackman ran didn't work much better against R'dale. Early success, but the strength of R'dale is they figure out what you are doing and attack differently, that and they may be the fastest team with the ball that I have seen in some time. This is an observation and no disrespect for any team or goal keeper is intended.

well you live by the trap and you die by the trap plus the officiating is not all that good

 

you can have 13 offsides but the one that doesn't get called or the if girl beats it you will get burned

it was a good game very physical

 

columbia was up 2 goals the whole game

 

i didn't see the 2nd goal but the 1st goal the goalie was trying to punch the ball out but the centerback also trying to head the ball out they collided and the blonde headed columbia girl scored from about 2 yards out

 

tullahoma goal was a pk by zoe johnson

 

stephanie mullins scored the goal but the ref brought it back for a pk why i don't know it looked clean to me

 

shots and the scoring chances were the same but columbia out hustled tullahoma alot last night

I agree. It is painful to watch. The defensive formation is not executed correctly and therefore looses it effectiveness. I hope that Tullahoma reconfigures its defense and soon.

Not only do you have to be flawless, but so do "both linesman" (both halves). Likely why this fails in prep soccer.
