Maryville complacent?

Maryville beat Tazewell 42-0 to start the '77 playoff run. As was posted earlier they lost to a very good Milan team in the championship game 28-6. During the 4 year stretch between '76-'79 Maryville went to the title game each year in Double A winning against Brentwood Academy in '76 (27-0) and again against BA in '78 (21-14) and losing in the odd numbered years. First losing to Milan in the '77 title game (28-6) and in '79 the Rebs lost to Humboldt in the finals (13-10). Go Rebs.
