I have no horse in this race billydee, but MJ has more students than LHS and have had for the last two years. They play 4a with a 5an student body, so don't hate congratulate.

It was 27-0 early in the second quarter and Mt. Juliet had only snapped the ball three times. Miscues in the kick return game hurt MJ early. Jacob Maynard scored four times and would have had a fifth had he not fumbled into the end zone where Benford fell on it for another LHS score.

Actually Mt Juliet is big enough now to be a 5A school and WILL be next year.

 

Welcome to the wonderful world of Region 4-5A ball! They may not be in the same Region with us next year, but the compitition WILL be as tough every week!

Congrats to Lebanon on a well played game. They imposed their will early. MJ is a young team having lost 22 or so seniors from last years team. This group is a good, young group and I look for them to be well prepared by Coach Perry for years to come.

Lebanon did what they needed to do. Turn mistakes into touch downs. Congrats to you. MJ turn overs and the same stupid mistakes around the end zone that are either holding or offensive pass interferences have absolutely killed this team against solid teams. This team is very young and it shows.
