AC vs. Catholic

I agree with Happy Hour22 on this one. Rogers isn't quite the back the Irish saw last week in Wilson but he's still pretty darn tough. The Irish need to force some turnovers against the Mavs. I think they are tougher on the defensive side of the ball than Powell. Longmire has the potential to put up some good numbers against Catholic as he did last year. They have a huge mismatch vs the smaller Irish DBs.

AC has a shot at this one, they have the players to beat Catholic, there gonna have to play good up front and give Longmire some time to throw the ball. Dont think Catholic db's can cover all of AC recievers if Longmire gets time. The D needs to come to play, not be intimidated and go out there and be the more physical team. If Kerr will get his head out of his butt and let JB Young return punts instead of let it roll Rogers, then they have a shot. All that being said i hope im wrong but i say Catholic in a close one.

Stop the run up the middle.... Catholic wins by 2 TDs. An Anderson County team that has their confidence rattled in the 1st half will self destruct in the 2nd half.

Must say, I was wrong. Just thought with those 3-4 soph OL, and 4-5 sophs on D, that AC would out physical, and out experience that young Catholic team. Congrats to them, and Coach Pemberton. Good coach right there.
