I'm confused. I thought all these players started the game. I believe our hard hitting just took them out of the game. I may not have class but at least the team I pull for dont allow their kids to cuss the other teams players out with everyone standing and watching and listening. Gurarantee coach Kelly would be running some of those young men till their tongues hung out. Speaking of coach Kelly he and his staff done an excellent job as usual. Had the kids pumped and prepared for the past 2 big games and it showed big time. Try to make all the excuses you want about the win but that score speaks for itself. York is and has always been overatted in my opinion. Alvin York is still one of Americas greatest heros in my opinion I'm sure he would not approve of the cussing before the game.

 

No one made excuses, just stated we came in beat up and added to it a little bit. You are the one who is overrated. I guess you are big man talking about kids and what you would do. The fact is our kids reacted to your kids spitting on our goalposts. You want to talk about class you need to clean up yours first. It was a hard fought game. The team that executed the best won. Westmoreland came to play and took a hard fought victory.

" the team I pull for don't allow their kids to cuss'??? You are more confused than you know. Ask anyone that has played Westy before. They may not cuss as much as some......but they do.

Excuses?? The people from YORK need to understand that The Postman knows what he is talking about.....he is an expert on excuses. Most of the time he will start with them BEFORE the game with "we're the underdog" or "game don't mean anything" type stuff...you know...just in case.

As far as kids being hurt....hope they all recover.

ANY small town school that has 3-4 key players injured , reguardless of when or how, is in trouble. If Westy lost Wix, Duffer, Green and another or two, how would they fair?

Thanks Skenny. It was a huge win for us. Maybe we'll see you later in the season. I wish your young men a speedy recovery. Hate to see any players injured. Get well and come see us in MOTOWN!

 

Your boys played great on both sides of the ball and it was obvious they came fired up and ready to play. No excuses. Injuries (and cussing) are part of it. Good in your face ball. The best team won. Good luck the rest of the way and take it to the NIGHT CHIX on the 17th.
