SC is shaking their heads in disbelief.............................knowing it ain't gonna be good for them come 10-17. /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" /> I hope the Eagles GUT the owls personally. It will probably be a good game though.

Its definitely a go see game. Just so you dont have to depend on the posters view of the game. /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

I must admit, this win does not surprise me in the least. That York offense is terrible. The formation with the feet to feet splits plays right into our D-lines hands. The only game York has ever beat us was last year and it was a major fluke. We had 7 turnovers and they still just won by 5. On another note, I know I dont have much class if any, but I'll be danged if cussing players at the goal post shows any class. Guess ya'll got pay back for that crap tonight. The score of this one really doesnt show what a blowout this really was. I do think SC will be a much tougher match up for us in 2 weeks, but I'll warn you boys....We are getting better with each tick of the clock. That D is just shy of perfect against the run and getting much better covering the pass!!!

There's not a team in our region that could win a game without their qb, best two backs, linebackers and safety......especially against Westmoreland. Great "W" for the Eagles.

I'm glad someone noticed. Westmoreland has a very good team, no doubt. Their line absolutely dominated ours. But York is better than they played last night, and a lot of that was due to injuries. I'm not making excuses - just stating the facts. When you have five starters injured it's real hard to make adjustments when you have no depth.

And by the way, Posty, You're right. You have no class!

How bad are the injuries? We've had the same problem. It seems to come in waves sometimes.

    • I believe that was last year. I was interested in the Jones vs Baker comment, so I went back and looked at GC. I am not a fan of either nor am I a baseball guru. This looks like to me the duel was not close and if the errors would not have been made Eagleville would have won. I assume you are a little biased. I do think your mph for Jeffcoat and Baker must be from last year.  Baker-85 pitches 67 strikes. 5.2 innings, 5H, 1BB, 0ER and 7K's. 3 errors  Jones- 78 pitches 37 strikes. 4 innings, 2H, 5BB, 0ER and 1K. 1 error   Adams and the UH kid are really good as well. What about South Pitt and Oakdale? I heard they have some good ones.
    • I hate this for all the kids in the program and fans alike. I can't recall of anything like this before in my lifetime but I'm sure it isn't a first. After criminal investigations are complete and the TSSAA looks into this the program it will be facing Nuclear Winter for some time to come. It's always the innocent left behind that end up paying the price for something someone else has done. I'm sure the transfer portal will be very active in Clinton over the summer months. How could you find a good coach worth his salt that would take on a situation like this not knowing what will happen.
    • I’ve seen Jeffcoat in person twice and he was 84-87 both times and the one time I saw Baker he was low 80’s, he actually got out dueled by Jones from ER in that outing.
    • Pirate fans, thread is up on the baseball message board.
