That was a tough loss. The game was 14-6 at halftime, 6-6 until the very end of the second quarter. Sequatchie did well at times in the first half, recovered an onside kick to start the game, blocked a punt, intercepted a pass near midfield and stopped Tyner on fourth and 1 near midfield but just got 6 points out of all that-some of which was due to their own, unforced mistakes again this week. Tyner scored with 6 seconds left in the first half on a catch that was disputed by the Sequatchie coaches and fans, to put it mildly. They carried that momentum into the second half, recovered a fumble on Sequatchie's first drive and had to go just 20 yards to lead 21-6. Tyner rolled through the rest of the game after that. It won't be easy to recover from that one but Sequatchie has the players and coaches to get things straightened out and go for a win at Silverdale.

I am surprised that Sequatchie County played Tyner to a 4 touchdown game. I thought it would end up something like 49-7. You just can't compare scores in high school football. Goodluck next week.

Well high school football anybody can win on any given night. Seq. will get things back on track still looks good to be a indian

There are injuries but that is a part of football. It's better not to give specifics for obvious reasons.
