Greenfield beat McKenzie tonite 63-48. Our coach played the subs for nearly the entire 4th quarter, while McKenzie coach played his starters the entire game. McKenzie did have a really good ballplayer in the 6'8" senior, Holt. He scored 33 points in the game, although a lot of them came against our 2nd and 3rd string.

 

 

About Greer, he's good. He's very good. A lot of people dont like his attitude very much, from what I understand from those who play against him; but he's good. He's 6'4", and he can handle the ball like a guard. He can shoot threes, and he can take it to the hoop. He might go to a UTM, or Middle TN St; or he might go somewhere bigger. Next year will tell us. I think he's just a junior. Aint that right?

yes he is a junior this year. If some people dont like his attitude i wouldnt understand that hes a very good player that works very hard at his sport i have seen every game and have seen no bad attitude from him. he is a good kid.

 

 

He is a very good player, I have not seen him this year and I bet he has improved from what I saw last year.

 

Then who all has given the War Eagles their 6 losses

He has a great attitude majority of the time on the flor. I guess the only time he wouldhave one is when the refs aren't calling the things he normally gets called for him. But everyone gets mad at a missed call or when they think they were fouled. He works very hard to be as good as he is and will continue that I am sure.

Yeah Bruceton can luck up and get you.. They have the strangest strategy..They all shoot 3's no matter what... If they are hitting I am sure they could be hard to beat.. We were up by 30 and our starters played only about half the game... I am hoping for a good couple of weeks for our boys... We have Houston Cty tomorrow and Clarksburg Friday.. We keep looking better with every game and still not as good as we can play..If we continue to improve and play team ball we should be very competetive come tournament time..

Yea, they were on that night. One thing they did different was in the second half they didn't sub at every dead ball. I always thought that hurt them.

 

 

 

 

Yeah Bruceton can luck up and get you.. They have the strangest strategy..They all shoot 3's no matter what... If they are hitting I am sure they could be hard to beat.. We were up by 30 and our starters played only about half the game... I am hoping for a good couple of weeks for our boys... We have Houston Cty tomorrow and Clarksburg Friday.. We keep looking better with every game and still not as good as we can play..If we continue to improve and play team ball we should be very competetive come tournament time..

      Im asking everyone to keep roy whited and his family in your prayers. Coach whited won back to back state championships at white county in 98-99. He is very well liked and respected in this area. For those of you that dont know he went missing 3 days ago. No one knows where he is. His truck was found in a rural part of the county. Thanks again. We are all very concerned.

      West would be a good team to get behind if they can pull it off again like last year. That championship game last year was awesome.

      I say that because he stepped out of a MUCH better situation on his own than he would see at least his first 3 years at DCA and it would take at least that much to bring him back to coaching. There are other fish in the sea, but again money talks. Need to fix the girls hoops too. Now I'll try again. Who has Pierce locked in for his staff? Hearing a McGavock man but not the Iceman.

      I’ve heard mostly good things from the gridiron. Lots of optimism. It sounds like the portal has mostly helped, though there are a few expected defections. Comeback year!

      Rudesell 1 year at Crockett. Coach Tate 2 weeks a Bradford. South Gibson supposedly going with jcs middle school coach. Which isn’t who I thought would get it, I know the top 2 was between him and Obion girls head coach.
