I agree, a state tourney should not be decided in one day. Should have maybe played Monday and Tues when they seen the weather forcast. The girls who were in the top 6 or 8 could have made their move on day two. We ll never know...

Can't change the format based on the forecast for a few days - they are frequently wrong. It is too bad they only played 18 holes, but in High School golf there isn't much they can do. It doesn't happen often however.

Find a course that will allow you to play a practice round on Thursday and regular rounds on Friday and Saturday with make-up a day on Sunday. Less days out of school. I know there is a nice course and I would say many that would do this for the publicity. Ask and golf course owners will step up.

Good idea and I agree.

 

It would be difficult, if not impossible however. to find a quality golf course with a central location that would be willing to give up their revenue for a Friday, Saturday and Sunday (and for all three division's state golf tournaments). I doubt if the TSSAA pays them enough for the course that they can make up for regular weekend play.
